I. Job objective:

Supervise 5S and food safety and hygiene across the system.

II. Specific duties:

Prepare documents and procedures for obtaining new certificates of eligibility for food safety and hygiene, and for periodic renewal.

Receive and liaise with government agencies visiting our business locations.

 Plan health checks and food safety and hygiene training for staff directly involved in production, on a periodic basis.

Plan periodic sample testing and inspection of the water supply used.

Support the set-up of new locations in terms of facilities, tools, equipment, protective gear and kitchen hygiene.

Develop and issue documents and provide training on food safety and hygiene, data entry and three-step inspection logs for staff directly involved in production.

Develop raw material standards as the basis for purchasing and quality assessment of incoming goods, in line with government regulations.

Plan the review and evaluation of new suppliers.

Support the development of procedures for receiving goods, pre-processing food, thawing food (if any), cooking food, retaining food samples, cleaning the premises and food containers, and drying containers for cooked food.

Organize the implementation, application, maintenance and improvement of the quality management system in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.

 Coordinate and control inspection and supervision activities at kitchens regarding food safety and hygiene in accordance with issued regulations. Report arising issues promptly to management and propose improvements.

Advise on nutrition and the energy needs of each target group in order to build suitable menus.

Keep up to date with legal documents in force relating to food safety and hygiene.

Periodically prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual work plans and report on work as required by management.

Inspect the implementation of 5S and food safety and hygiene at kitchens across the system.

Report hazards and propose countermeasures and remediation plans for 5S and food safety and hygiene issues across the system.

Ensure that kitchens across the system meet the required food safety and hygiene and 5S criteria.

III. Requirements:

1.   Education/qualifications:

- Male or female, aged 22-35.

- College or university graduate in Food Technology or other related fields.

- Proficient in office software.

- Good understanding of circulars and legal documents relating to food safety and hygiene.

2.  Skills:

- Organizational, planning and supervisory skills.

- Planning and teamwork skills.

- Analysis, synthesis and reporting skills.

- Good communication and persuasion skills.

3.  Experience:

- At least 1 year of experience in an equivalent position or experience in implementing ISO procedures

4. Personal qualities:

- Able to work well under high pressure.

- Honest, careful, detail-oriented and enthusiastic at work.

- Creative and flexible. Able to travel for work
